**About the Customer Service & Reservations Position**

The Customer Service and Reservations Manager Assists team members with Customer Service and Reservations operations in accordance with contractual guidelines This Position is with the contact center for the TriMet LIFT paratransit service located in beautiful Portland, Oregon. TriMet is one of the Nations most recognized transit agencies and the City of Portland was named one of the ten best cities for wheelchair accessible transportation in 2018.

* Provides Leadership role to the Customer Service, and Reservations department.

* Review and compile data into professional and accurate reports for clients and company.

* Employee development and mentoring.

* Maintains optimum staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage in all departments while maintaining overtime goal.

* Oversees some HR / Personnel actions including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, training, discipline, etc.

* Reviews and revises staff performance requirements.

* Reviews and conducts performance evaluations for direct reports.

* Assists TriMet (client) staff with various projects and requests.

* All other duties as assigned by General Manager or Region Director of Operations

* All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

* Associates degree in Business, Public Administration, or related are preferred.

* 2+ years experience managing in a call center environment, including managing phone systems software and understanding call que requirements.

* Experience with reservations, routing, and tracking software.

* Clear understanding of ADA regulations as they relate to employment and transportation.
