Job Summary:The Marketing Representative will work in the Gatlinburg area, engaging with the public and inviting them to attend Vacation Ownership Presentations. The representative will be responsible for pre-qualifying prospective clients to ensure they meet the established guidelines to attend the presentation.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Delivers a branded and scripted marketing pitch
  • Books qualified prospects for a Vacation Ownership presentation
  • Maintains the site minimum standard for production, bounce-back sales, and budgeted volume per month
  • Books and sells area activities to customers
  • Provides guests with site and area information upon request
  • Remains current on all area attractions, events, and dining options
  • Reports all negative customer experiences to management
  • Responsible for attending all staff meetings and training, as requested by management.
  • Performs accurate accounting and reporting of all shift(s) details as directed by the manager.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • All other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Charismatic and outgoing personality.
  • Prior experience in a commission or tip driven role.
  • Previous OPC experience is a plus.
  • Tennessee Acquisition Agent License is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages and discounts.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Able to use sound judgment; and work independently, with minimal supervision.
