Leading manufacturing automotive supplier located in the airport area of El Paso is currently looking for a Customer Service Specialist with automotive industry experience to join their team! Apply today! The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing customer service support to customer accounts and manufacturing locations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- The customer service specialist is the first point of contact for general inquiries such as inventory, scheduling shipping, calendar schedules, shortages, promise dates etc.
- Responsible for reviewing, processing, and distributing customer orders, inventory reports by FIFO, quality assurance requests, customer labels and shipment schedules.
- Manage customer orders to ensure accurate order receipt and entry, on time shipment delivery.
- Customer service specialist will monitor stock inventory levels to ensure availability to meet customer demand.
- Maintain constant communication with customer, manufacturing locations, corporate locations, and other suppliers to ensure timely arrival of finished goods.
- Will create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
- Will initiate purchase order requisitions, customer accounts, quotes, etc.
- Research any claims of non-payment of invoices and research and resolve any billing issues.
- Frequently update system data and make changes as needed.
- Assist with any special projects as needed and with any other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience in the automotive industry, highly preferred.
- Must have at a minimum customer service experience in either manufacturing, logistics or distribution experience.
- Customer Service Specialist must be able to speak, write and communicate in both English and Spanish.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40-45 wpm with 100% accuracy.
- Have excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical and customer service skills.
- Must demonstrate job longevity and stability.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
