In our continued transformation from a real estate company to a customer experience company, we are seeking a **Customer Service Specialist** who will complete fulfillment of online orders and provide support to shoppers seeking information or assistance with promotional programs, including purchases on www.tangeroutlet.com. This position will have flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement offered by Tangers hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

**How you will contribute to what we do:**

* Be the primary contact for the Marketing Customer Service phone line answer customer questions, assist with order processing and track orders as needed / requested

* Respond to online customer inquiries from various web forms, including promotional programs and order processing inquiries

* Document and communicate frequently asked questions with marketing team and look for ways to improve website for improved customer experience

* Fulfill web orders for:

+ Gift card orders, including activation of gift cards, packaging and shipping

+ TangerClub membership orders, including packaging and shipping

+ Coupon book orders, including crediting any mis-orders from TangerClub members

+ Pink Card orders (Sept/Oct annually)

+ Coordination of any other miscellaneous/seasonal products sold through .

* Be familiar with the order process from order submission, credit card payment through Authorize.net, TangStats data import, and shipping confirmations

* Provide input on efficiencies and data discrepancies to continually improve process

* Conduct a monthly inventory of gift cards at corporate & nationwide for the centers

* Ship gift cards to the centers as needed

* Compile periodic gift card packaging inventory at center level to assist in re-order process

* Provide administrative support to the marketing department to include:

+ Filing, copying, binding, scanning and other support functions as needed

+ Update Spreadsheets or program projects as needed

+ Phone back up support to executives as needed

+ Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

**About You:**

* You have a high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) plus years experience in customer service. Five (5) plus years experience in customer service is preferred.

* You can ensure an exceptional customer experience.

* Your ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy is a strength.

* You identify ways of achieving objectives that result in service improvement.

* You can identify issues, carry out research and analyze accurately to identify root causes.

* You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* You are detail oriented and highly organized while possessing excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.

* You can read, write, and comprehend the English language.
