Our work depends on Customer Service Specialist II joining our team to provide support via the telephone and/or Internet to resolve routine issues and respond to customer inquiries. You will be answering inbound phone calls from Medicaid Providers for billing or enrollment. These calls are not scripted; there is knowledge to be learned to understand and help the providers with their Medicaid claims.
HOW A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Takes and processes transactions by telephone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives
- Enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports
- Acts as liaison for customers
- Maintains knowledge of company products and customer service processes
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: - Required Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience
- Required Technical Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong telephone and verbal communication skills
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Location: Hybrid and on-site at Riverview Center, Menands, NY
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $16.15 - $21.85. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
