New York State Solar is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to onboard our customers who have initiated a Sales Contract with our company. We are growing rapidly, and our growth requires a Customer Service Representative to assist with the influx of new customers. The role requires excellent phone, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Candidates should have 2-4 years of minimum experience in customer success, phone sales, customer service, or a similar corporate client-facing role. The position requires great attention to detail and professionalism as you will be working with customers who have already initiated contracts. The Customer Success Representative is a key player in onboarding customers and guiding them through the installation process and beyond. We pride ourselves on providing high levels of service, because our business thrives on long-term relationships with our satisfied clients. This position involves working with customers over the phone, and experience with phone skills in a corporate environment is required for this position. You will act on behalf of our customers to coordinate between the sales, permitting, planning, and installation processes. Please make sure to provide an updated resume.

Responsibilities:

Manage the client experience from sale closing to completion of construction project

Under guidance of the Customer Success Manager, take responsibility for completion of projects and payments

Pursue Accounts Receivable on a daily basis

Maintain a high contract completion ratio by keeping customers engaged throughout planning, permitting, and construction

Requirements:

2-4 Years experience in Customer Service or Sales

2-4 Years experience phone skills in a corporate environment

Client-focused and friendly temperament

Preferred:

Experience in customer contracts preferably in the construction or solar industry

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree

Pay Range: Salary - 65K-70K

Location(s): Hicksville, NY (on-site office with 10%-15% local field work)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
