Our client provides creative solutions for metal forming and assembly requirements at competitive prices.1 Primary Purpose of the Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Production Control under supervision of the Production Control Manager, will plan, schedule implement and monitor production activities, ensuring contract requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met. Coordinates with other departments for the resolution of issues and challenges. Exercises initiative in arranging details to attain job objectives.2 Basic Function of the Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Production Control is:- Responsibility for the development and maintenance of relationships with assigned customers, representatives, vendors, manufacturing, and purchasing.- Reviews contract specification, sales orders and other project documents to understand all requirements.- Schedules and coordinates work with appropriate department associate(s) so that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.- Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials supplies.- Maintains records related to production data and performance including volume produced.- Coordinates production and shipping activities, resolves issues and delays through collaboration with fellow associates, vendors, and customers.- Revises production schedules to address issues such as labor, material shortages, backlogs, or design changes.3 Education:- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field from an accredited institution.4 Experience:- Requires: 1+ years proven successful customer service and production control.
