Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in motion graphics, multimedia, marketing, communications or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years in Video broadcast design or experience with usage of multimedia presentations, including direct experience managing and coordinating multimedia presentations.

Position Purpose:

Working with minimal guidance, Sr Spec Multimedia is responsible for developing integrated customer support solutions that involve interactive media (CD-ROM, Web) and video (DVD, Beta, HD and lead the development of video based interactive materials for technician training videos. This position will be located in Savannah but could require some travel to sites to support the Customer Support network.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

+ Plans, coordinates and produces the overall design, creation and production of multimedia and video based interactive content for the Customer Support enterprise. Largely, this will consist of creation of video content of technician work processes/activities for training purposes .

+ Works across Customer Support network and partners with subject matter/technical experts to gather content to be used for video productions and interactive content .

+ Contributes technical design knowledge to concepts that will support Customer Support initiatives .

+ Researches and integrates new video technologies into future designs and provide recommendations to Senior Management .

+ Manages and directs the actions of participants in pre-recorded technician videos .

+ Responsible for maintaining material fulfillment of videos and on-going maintenance of the video library .

+ Collaborates closely with all team members and technical experts to include the Program Manager to ensure work is prioritized based on need, completed on time and within budget/scope .

Additional Functions:

+ Moves large video equipment, stands, lighting, etc. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple task, details, priorities under extremely tight deadlines and schedules required.

+ Experience with webcasting technologies, such as Adobe Connect, Quicktime, etc.

+ Experience with the use of DV, HDCAM, DVCPRO video cameras.

+ Experience in the use of professional video lighting techniques.

+ Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (After Affects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash).

+ Proficient in the use of Apple Final Cut Suite (Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Compressor).

+ Proficient in the use of compression technologies.

+ Ability to work with 3D solutions such as Catia, Bunkspeed, Maya to integrate into video productions.
