They communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadlines toteam. Motivatesteammembers and assesses performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated onteamperformance.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Support department manager and perform management duties when manager is absent or out of office
- Assist management with hiring processes, onboarding and training of new hires
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
- Works in conjunction with various departments to implement customer specific processes
RequirementsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS PREFERRED Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or two years of related experience.
- Knowledge of basic business management principles and practices
- Leadership principles and proven ability to lead by example
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
- Clear and succinct oral and written communication
- Skilled in conflict resolution
- Ability to distill complex information into understandable actions with clear directives.
- Identifying root cause and identifying appropriate corrective actions
- Identifying and engaging appropriate stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
- Analyze and compile data and statistical information
- Prepare and present reports detailing data findings
- Organize and facilitate team building, training and coaching activities
- Work independently
