As a Customer Service Technician based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have responsibility for performing in-house repair and calibration of customer owned products. You will serve as a customer contact on technical and service related problems over a broad product line.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair wide variety of electronic assemblies and products.
* Repair is sometimes done at the component level
* Use of a variety of test equipment and interpret technical information.
* Ensure that appropriate quality standards are met at the workstation.
* Participate in ongoing efforts of process and product improvements.
* Provide technical and service assistance for customers through telephone, fax and email.
* Assist in technical orientation and training of employees as required.
* Review and implement product specific service notes.
* Use verbal and written communication skills to translate technical information as required.
* Perform other duties and assume responsibilities as required.
* This position will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA
Requirements:
* Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent
* Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years electronic technician experience, including troubleshooting at the component and/or systems level.
* Knowledge of ISO-9000, ISO-17025 and ANSI Z540 standards.
