Business Unit: Customer Solutions Customer Solutions aims to serve as the liaison between our customers and the organization, delivering top-quality customer service and addressing their needs with effective solutions. Your Role as an Intern You will be a part of a dynamic team, supporting the following tasks: The interns will be involved in Supporting the Customer Solutions representatives with PO review at order entry to catch errors and minimize first time throughs Involved in supporting the management team with backlog reports such as managing the Delayed Invoices report, tracking credits/debits reasons, getting orders to trigger production orders, etc. Many of the daily activities are to get the introduced to what the Business Development role entails and in turn supporting different projects to help the management team. You must be: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Communications or related areas. Candidates must be proficient in Excel and able to conduct basic sorting & filtering; concatenate functions; arithmetic function; pivot tables & charts. Preference for a candidate who can perform logical functions in Excel. Ideal candidates will possess the following characteristics self-motivated, willing to learn, outgoing and good communication skills Minimum 3.0 GPA Willing and able to work on-site at our Latrobe, PA location. Applicants MUST be US Citizens or Green Card Holders due to Carpenter's government contracts. Pay Range Hourly rates are based on: 1 - Program of study; 2 - Degree type (i.e., Bachelor's); 3 - Progression in degree (i.e., 1st year, 2nd year, etc.). The range for this position is $19.50 - $22.00 per hour. Commuting/Housing Assistance (If Eligible) Interns who must commute to work from outside the immediate Latrobe, PA area (over 50 miles one-way), will be paid a one-time lump sum payment of $2,400 (less applicable taxes) as excessive commute allowance. Interns who choose to temporarily relocate from outside the immediate Latrobe, PA area (moving over 50 miles one-way), will be paid a one-time lump sum payment of $4,800 (less applicable taxes) as a housing allowance. If applicable, this payment would be made during the first payroll cycle, which would be three or four weeks following the internship start date.
