Job Description:
Your Job INVISTA is seeking a driven Manager for our Customer Support team. The Customer Support Manager will support and lead a customer experience team for the Wichita based employees supporting the Nylon Upstream business. The successful candidate would be responsible for leading and developing a team while also working closely with leadership. We are seeking a candidate with strong critical thinking, problem solving skills, economic thinking, and framing skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with various levels within the organization is also key.This role will be based in Wichita, KS.What You Will Do
  • Coach and guide individuals to discover their innate abilities. Align the teams' talents with the needs of the company to create beneficial employee/company outcomes.
  • Provide guidance in day-to-day activities of direct reports, ensuring key performance indicators are met while driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategic initiatives for selecting and retaining the right resources and be a key contributor in developing knowledge systems to transform the supply chain
  • Responsible for transactional excellence from customer order to delivery of product and required documents
  • Utilize customer insights, changing operations and market requirements to identify opportunities for supply chain optimization.
  • Regularly interface with business leaders as well as internal & external counterparts to drive engagement and adoption of processes and programs to support our commitment to continuous improvement and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to break down traditional work silos to build integrated, self-directed, and customer-centric teams
  • Maintain an environment and culture which attracts, retains, and develops Principled Entrepreneurs™
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of leadership / supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering
  • Experience in supply chain, planning, scheduling, operations, logistics, or business analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in improving work processes to be more effective/efficient and economic
  • Experience with SAP ECC and SAP APO
  • Experience and proficiency with data analytics tools
  • Knowledge of the Nylon Upstream Business
