A LARGE THIRD-PARTY BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION COMPANY IS LOOKING TO HIRE A HANDFUL OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPS TO JOIN THEIR COMPANY!

Pay: $21/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-Hour shift between 5am-6pm

+ Could include 10-12 hour days if desired. 40-45 hour weeks

Start date: 10/21

6-Month Contract to Hire

This job operates in an open-concept, cubicle-centered office overlooking the water in the Bellingham marina. Free garage parking is included.

There is a break room with sink, dishwasher, fridges, coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle, coffee, tea, snacks, and there are nearby restaurants.

Description:

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for medical providers and members. Under the general direction and daily supervision of the Lead Customer Service Representative, the Customer Service Representative will handle contacts via phone, fax, web, mail and other methods. The representative will primarily handle inbound/outbound phone calls via our call center, entering, tracking, and occasionally processing of claims communications in our database system. The representative will be able to interface with members and providers in all aspects of assisting members and providers with their benefit and claims related questions.

- Customer Service emails - sort, respond, follow-up and archive as necessary.

- Customer service calls (up to 8 continuous hours on phones daily with breaks).

- Mail (collect, sort, scan, distribute).

- Fax distributions.

- Respond to portal inquiries/issues.

- Update vendor W-9's.

- Provider/Member outreach calls.

- Calling on bills for members

o Open/follow-up on balance billing issues when deemed necessary.

- Support claims department with processing reimbursements, error logs and Pend reports.

- Project support for account management and/or claims

o Provider relations and miscellaneous projects which could include but are not limited to tracking outstanding bills, Tax ID searches, following up on items related to broker relations or other high-level inquiries as directed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

70+ WPM typing test score

Nice to Have:
