Roles & Responsibilities:
- Research, create, and execute exceptional itineraries catering to client preferences.
- Review individual needs and wants to tailor trips specifically designed to meet their requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training to earn and maintain travel certification.
- Attend webinars with vendors and suppliers to specialize in specific destinations.
- Act as an ambassador for our brand and collaborate with team members.
- Provide suggested budgets for clients and plan trips within budget constraints.
- Create promotional materials for effective marketing.
- Stay updated on changes within the tourism industry, including travel restrictions.
- Promptly respond to all travel inquiries and effectively manage time when researching trips.
- Handle issues that may arise during bookings or travel for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date information within our software.
- Network with tour operators for potential package offerings to clients.
- Participate in Familiarization (FAM) trips when possible.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Effective communication skills with a strong sales background as a plus.
- Smartphone with internet access required; laptop recommended but not mandatory.
- Personal travel experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
