This role is responsible to assist Marketing and Field Sales in establishing a cost-competitive approach in negotiating foreign contracts.

**Your responsibilities**

* Provide expertise in International Trade Terms, U.S. & foreign trade compliance, documentation requirements, financing, and International Commerce (INCO) terms

* Ensure contract terms are followed during order-entry, product delivery, and receipt of payment

* Manage contents of contracts for specific details to ensure compliance to corporate policies as well as national & foreign government regulations

* Expedite all order documentation (Import License, Export License, Letters of Credit, Inspection Authorization, etc.)

* Prepare all necessary shipping documentation

* Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers and partners

**Your background**

* High School Diploma/GED with 9 or more years of professional experience in Customer Service, Sales, and/or Logistics

* Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States

* Recent experience working with international transportation operations and Export Compliance

* Knowledge of INCO terms

* Previous experience with business-to-business (B2B) customer support; international client support experience is preferred

* Experience using SAP and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is highly preferred
