Manage activities and scheduling of staffPrepare and execute personal goalsEnsure all standard operating procedures are followedInterface with US Customs and other government agenciesEnsure all clients are set up according to policyPossess a complete working knowledge of operational proceduresProcess entries and support operations where neededEnsure the company credit policy is followedSupervise department receivables and payablesEnsure all key performance indicators and monitored and metParticipate in Quality Business Reviews and manage exceptionsProvide pricing to customersParticipate in sales callsDrive continuous improvement through use of productivity toolsFoster a culture of compliance at all timesWork to create a positive, motivated staffConduct performance evaluations and reviews with assistance from department managerQualifications
- US Custom's broker's license
- 3 years experience in the industry
- PC skills
- Ability to articulate clearly
- Ability to relate to clients, Customs and other government officials, suppliers and staff at all levels
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Interpersonal skills
- College degree preferred
