Made Possible.Position Purpose:Perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance, and operations of the Die Cutter.Job Functions:Make-ready, adjust, and run job as efficiently as possible to meet safety and productivity standards.Examine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications, and special die cutting instructionsExamine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defectsMake necessary adjustments to ensure qualityEnsure information is communicated between shiftsEnsure Company Safety, Quality, and Production standards are metPerform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die CutterJob Specifications:3 years direct Die Cutting experience (preferably within the folding carton industry) or 3-5 years' experience with the equipment as a Production Assistant within a folding carton plantCandidates with possessing Iowa's National Career Readiness Certificates or folding carton experience preferred.Frequent lifting (up to 75 pounds), bending and turningPrior folding carton experience preferredStrong computer and math skills requiredMust be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required.Pay Range: -GPI's Benefit Program* Competitive Pay* 401(k) w/employer matching* Health & Welfare Benefits* Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage* Short and Long-Term Disability* Life Insurance* Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance* Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* Various Voluntary benefits* Adoption Assistance Program* Employee Discount Programs* Employee Assistance Program* Tuition Assistance Program* Paid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each yearApplications accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
