Job Responsibilities:
- Online robot programming for Sealer, UBC, and Dampening, including running trials and adjusting parameters to evaluate quality drawings and meet standards.
- Online robot programming for Primer, Base, and Clear, running trials and adjusting parameters to ensure quality standards are met.
- Review electrical drawings for new paint equipment installations and develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials.
- Set up new paint equipment and calibrate systems to ensure they function as designed.
- Prepare and confirm new paint equipment at vendor sites, testing functionality and confirming operation of all safety devices.
- Create handover documents, including snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMCs.
- Support new model Paint Seibi projects across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, requiring a willingness to travel.
Requirements:
- Availability for overtime and weekend work is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily domestic/local, with 5% international travel (Mexico and Japan); a valid passport is necessary.
- Proficiency in PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Omron, Toyopuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens).
- A minimum of a 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Creative problem solver who thrives on challenges and can analyze problems to strategize better solutions.
- Flexibility to multitask on various aspects of a project or multiple projects.
- Initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
