AS a licensed Class A CDL Driver you are responsible for operating and maintaining a delivery truck and/or trailer delivering precast products.Essential Functions:
- Safely load and transport material to/from Vendors/Customers
- Load/Unload of trucks after material and receiver are inspected
- Prep and package material for shipment as needed
- Complete operator safety checklist on truck prior to use
- Comply with all maintenance and preventative maintenance requirements
- Complete daily log/mileage books accurately and legibly
- Excellent customer service and on time deliveries
- Promote a culture of proactive safety
- Maintain shipping board
- Assist with placing checked in material in the bin location and note on packing slip
- Assist with supplying materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly and manufacturing as needed
- Provide accurate, detailed, and timely paperwork and reports to management
- Proactively maintain your own housekeeping and keep Company vehicle clean
- Assist in maintaining a clean environment in the warehouse and yard
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:Skills, Experience and Education:
- Class A CDL
- 2 years OTR experience a plus
- Must be able to pass a driver's background check.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
