Cyber Systems Engineer – Contract To Hire Role
Must be a US Citizen and have an Active Security Clearance
Position Summary:
Seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to lead threat analysis and recommend remediations for high-profile projects in the C5ISR (Cyber, Command, and Control) domain. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to integrate secure designs for ground combat platforms, aligning with vehicle cyber requirements and compliance standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Cyber Threat Analysis & Communication: Conceptualize findings and collaborate with project managers and developers for remediation.
- Embedded Systems Expertise: Design experience with C, Ada, or Rust in Linux environments.
- Cyber Security Integration: Proficiency in security system integration, testing plans, and execution.
- Vehicle Cyber Posturing: Familiarity with cyber-physical systems and tailoring cyber controls for vehicle systems.
- System Engineering: Strong background in system architecture, SWaP-CRaM, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Electrical Engineering or equivalent with cyber/vehicle expertise.
Experience:
- 5+ years in vehicle design, engineering, or military systems.
- Developing and managing cyber requirements for embedded systems.
- Exposure to military vehicle systems and cyber warfare.
Tools & Technologies: Microsoft Office Suite, embedded system design tools, vulnerability scanning tools.
Security Clearance: Must have a U.S. security clearance.
Additional Details:
- Work closely with engineering and program teams on platform design.
- Evaluate and integrate new cyber technologies.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in/around military vehicles and meet confined space requirements.
