Overview:The Technology department at PJT is responsible for creating and continuously improving a robust and secure technology foundation that supports the firm s business activities. Underpinning that, the Cybersecurity function ensures that the firm accurately identifies, investigates, and remediates incidents and evaluates applicable controls related to the firm s technology. As the technology landscape at PJT is undergoing significant change, the Cybersecurity function is also evolving to help enable that change.Role Description:We are seeking a high performing Cybersecurity Professional to join us to help drive change in the function through process improvement and by leveraging technology. Core to the role is to manage security operations and vulnerabilities. As such, the candidate should possess a solutions-oriented, investigative mindset, the ability to be flexible to adapt to shifting priorities and to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must establish strong relationships with all stakeholders in Technology and across relevant corporate and business functions.Responsibilities:Key Areas of Focus Conduct regular vulnerability reviews of existing and new systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.Perform vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and other security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.Analyze vulnerability data and provide recommendations for remediation, mitigation, or acceptance based on the risk profile.Monitor and track security events and incidents related to vulnerabilities, and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate and resolve issues.Lead the incident response process, including identifying the root cause of security incidents and developing remediation plans.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that vulnerability management and maintenance considerations are incorporated into the design, development, and testing of new systems and applications.Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.Communicate security risks and issues to management and other stakeholders and provide recommendations for addressing them.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the security team.Understand and manage risk vs. business operabilityQualifications:PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.At least 7-10 years of experience in the field of information security, with a focus on vulnerability management, secure design review, and incident response.Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO.Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7Strong technical skills in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.Strong knowledge of network security protocols, operating systems, and web application security.Familiarity with security incident and event management (SIEM) tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload.Strong knowledge of incident responseExperienced in managing consultant teamsExpected annualized base salary of $165,000 to $190,000.This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.Base salary is one component of PJT Partners compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.PJT is an equal opportunity employer.
