Job Overview Are you ready to make a difference in the world of Wireless Security? Then come join our team as our latest Analyst, Cybersecurity Zero Trust! As a member of the Cybersecurity Zero Trust team, you have the unique opportunity to have direct and measurable impact on T-Mobile's security by supporting existing security platforms and deploying new platforms to meet T-Mobil's security needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and support Zscaler services, including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access), to enhance network security.
  • Monitor alerts and investigate incidents involving Zscaler solutions, perform real-time analysis, response, and documentation of security events.
  • Partner with IT, network, and application teams to coordinate security policies and protocols; educate staff on security standard processes, data protection, and security awareness.
  • Works with cross functional groups and staff in the creation and testing of procedures, standard or regulatory controls to ensure the security and privacy of information on T-Mobile's Network.
  • Participate in information security review of new technologies, designs, and remediation planning efforts.
  • Serves as liaison between CIS, IT Operations, engineering, upper management & dept. representatives to improve the adoption of and support for info security plans, procedures, and regulatory controls.
  • In collaboration with our partners, evaluate complex technologies, systems, processes, and controls to identify security risks and compliance gaps; work jointly with partner teams for resolution; handle escalations and resulting timelines to ensure compliance.
  • Support info security policy lifecycle throughout, including intake, creation, review, approval, implementation, publishing, communication & maintenance.
  • Contribute to security projects driven by groups both internal and external to info security.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
  • Participates in identifying security needs & recommends plans/resolutions. Implements, tests & monitors info security improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or knowledge of scripting or automation for security tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Hands-on experience with security administration tools and policy configuration.
  • Previous operational support experience working with customers to solve issues and come up with solutions.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, and endpoint security solutions.
  • IT security control development, control testing, risk remediation, and reporting
  • Knowledge of IT or Network technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in incident response and security event management.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or Information Technology. Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Experience:

2-4 years-Experience in info security technology or related field.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
