Our insights, our applications and infrastructure give a competitive edge to clients' businesses-and to our own.The Morgan Stanley Vulnerability Management team is within the Firm's Cyber, Data, Risk, and Resilience organization and is responsible for assessing reported vulnerabilities pertaining to commercial software products as to severity and relevance to Morgan Stanley and assigning them to responsible technology owners for remediation. The team is responsible for tracking and reporting on all aspects of commercial software vulnerability risk for the Firm.The Morgan Stanley Vulnerability Management team is looking for a Vice President to help modernize the firm's vulnerability management tooling by consolidating the existing systems into a single platform.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Evaluating commercial products to determine if existing functionality meets the firm's needs and requirements· Piloting potential commercial replacements· Coordinating the modernization of the firm's vulnerability management tooling· Collaborating with business and technology partners to provide customized security controls· Building consensus across different teams and organizationsThe ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player, committed to meeting deadlines while juggling multiple simultaneous projects.QualificationsQualifications:· 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience· Bachelors or greater in Computer Science or related field· Ability to rapidly pick up new concepts· Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort solving open ended problems· Ability to swiftly transition between projects and tasks· Experience building consensus across different teams and organizations· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral· Excellent organization and time-management skills· Intrinsic curiosity and an eagerness to learn new technologies and skills· Comfort conceiving and implementing novel solutions to problemsDesired Skills:· Prior software development experience preferred· Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and risk management· Experience managing vulnerabilities at an enterprise scale preferred· Familiarity with cloud concepts preferred· Experiencing automating manual tasks· Experience analyzing and deriving insights from new data setsMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
