Job Description:
Position Title: Cycle Counter/ Warehouse General Labor FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager Date: September 2024 JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Objective: The Cycle Counter is responsible for the continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner; researches all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures.   • Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data
  • Research discrepancies between physical and system count
  • Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory
  • Adheres to cycle counting procedures and guidelines
  • Investigates origin of discrepancies
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Perform other duties assigned to full accountability

Supervisory Responsibility: None Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, working on and around forklifts. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scan gun, tape gun; noise such as warehouse equipment and machinery. This list is not all inclusive. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to speak and listen. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, as well as use hands and fingers to handle, feel, lift and/or operator equipment, scanner and computer; reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position., Monday through Friday, occasional overtime as necessary. Travel: Local travel between Elkhart locations Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program; demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Office and warehouse experience
