To continue this transformation, we're seeking an experienced Microsoft D365 AX Developer who has expertise in the design, development, testing and implementation of D365 and AX solutions according to Best Practices. You will collaborate closely with the business users, business analysts and solution architects to ensure development and delivery of AX software solutions in a fast-paced environment.Objectives of this role
  • Work in tandem with our business, applications and infrastructure teams to identify and implement the optimized solutions for the company
  • Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application development, deployment and maintenance
  • Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to applications teams to produce functionally valuable and technically sound solutions
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design
  • Manage code deployments with proper SDLC controls
Responsibilities
  • Developing, customizing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP software solutions
  • Using Team Foundation Server or Azure Dev Ops to manage SDLC processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop new features
  • Creating technical specifications based on functional requirements and business needs
  • Performing code reviews and providing feedback to other developers
  • Testing and debugging code to ensure the software meets quality standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner
  • Providing technical expertise and support to end-users and team members
  • Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Microsoft Dynamics AX development
Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Dynamics AX development
  • Proficient in X++, MorphX, and Visual Studio
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics AX architecture and development methodologies
  • Experience with integration of Dynamics AX with external systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug Dynamics AX code
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodology is a plus
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Experience with D365 F&SCM Development and Azure Dev Ops
  • Application Functional Knowledge in Trade and Logistics, Production and Finance.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS English fluency is essential. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to respond to either common and sensitive inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers. High attention to detail and a keen eye for esthetics.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITY Must have seasoned judgment and business situation versatility, with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
