Description
Financial System Management: Manage and optimize back-end operations in D365 Finance & Operations, ensuring smooth functioning and accurate data processing for financial modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Reconciliation Support: Troubleshoot and resolve reconciliation issues across various sites, working closely with finance teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy in the system.
Accounting Expertise: Apply strong accounting knowledge to support financial reporting, ensuring that D365 F&O aligns with accounting standards and practices, and help resolve discrepancies or challenges related to financial transactions.
AP Automation: Implement and manage accounts payable automation processes within D365, streamlining workflows and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments.
Workflow Optimization: Design, configure, and optimize D365 workflows to enhance business processes, ensuring that tasks such as approvals, notifications, and data updates are handled efficiently.
Integration Support: Provide integration expertise to connect D365 F&O with external systems like Concur (expense management) and Workday (HR and financial systems), ensuring seamless data flow and process integration between platforms.
Independent Work & Troubleshooting: Work autonomously to manage system updates, enhancements, and customizations, while providing solutions to issues that arise within the D365 F&O environment.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data analysis skills to monitor financial data and generate reports, identifying trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
Profile
A successful candidate for the D365 F&O Consultant role will have at least 5 years of experience with D365 Finance & Operations, particularly in back-end finance modules. They should possess strong accounting skills, capable of resolving reconciliation issues and ensuring data accuracy. Experience with AP automation, D365 workflow configuration, and integrations (especially with Concur and Workday) is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot independently, optimize business processes, and analyze financial data. They should also be proactive, results-driven, and able to collaborate effectively across teams.
