The primary purpose of the Substitute Teacher is to maintain the continuity of classroom instruction in a positive learning environment through effective instruction as specified by the lesson plans provided by the teacher while the teacher is absent. Please refer to the attached job description to learn more about this position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must hold a valid Substitute Teaching License or Professional Educator License registered in Region 05- North Cook,
- Successfully complete the required background screening, new hire papework, and technology assessment, and
- Attend a substitute orientation session.
COMPENSATION
- The Daily Substitute Teacher hourly rate is $30.23.
