Job DescriptionWe are searching for an Operations Manager with experience in industrial processes such as agriculture, food industry, or waste management. The Operations Manager will oversee several water filtration systems. The main responsibilities includ: ensuring optimal operation and profitability of these system as well as tracking and meeting system KPIs. This position will also supervise the operators and work in close coordination with company teams.We are a fast-growing company, and we need an individual who can hit the ground running and take ownership of our facilities. To be successful as a manager, you should be dedicated, professional, and have a strong understanding of our process. The ideal candidate will be attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to work with team members from across the company and oversee the sites operators.Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate operations at multiple sites to ensure the systems run effectively and efficiently.
  • Keep track of key performance indicators at each site to ensure that the systems perform as expected (daily flow, water quality, worm population).
  • Manage and mentor a team of site operators and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor facility equipment and processes, ensuring maintenance and operational standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly, including equipment repairs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of water samples for quality testing, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, inventory, and operational data.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff, contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Report on operational performance, safety incidents, and other concerns to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, federal, and OSHA standards, policies, and mandates.
  • Other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or technical certificates in engineering, environmental science, business management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or agricultural setting.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and operations.
  • Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and use of software solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safety-conscious work environment.
  • Clean driving record.
