Minimum Qualifications & Brief Description of Duties: Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance or Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in qualifying field. Florida School of the Arts seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Dance to teach undergraduate dance and musical theater majors. The ideal candidate has the ability to teach foundational dance and conditioning techniques. It is preferred that applicants upload the following documents prior to submitting their application: (1) transcripts for all colleges attended, (2) a curriculum vitae that includes the institutions where you have worked and the courses you have taught, (3) a syllabus of a relevant course you have recently taught, (4) two letters of recommendation, and (5) a letter to the search committee describing your teaching experience. This is a part-time position, starting January 3,2024. Applicant must pass verification of employment/reference screening and a background check. This position is not eligible for Veterans' preference.
