Location Newtown Athletic Club Description Summary:We are looking to hire a Dance Fitness Instructor that will aid in supporting all members in creating happier, and healthier lives. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the NAC goal of making lives better. Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate large group dance fitness classes to service members
- Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language
- Inspire and energize members and provide superior customer service at all times, inside and outside class
- Engage in opportunities that positively impact the member experience
- Ensure all members are exercising in a safe and effective manner
- Outgoing, positive, and optimistic, team oriented personality
- Availability for non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- Dependable and reliable
- Passion for fitness and helping others reach their goals
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active CPR/AED Certification
- Minimum of one year experience actively leading successful group exercise classes
- Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (AFFA, ACE, ACSM, NETA)
