About Daniel Lurie's Campaign

Join Daniel Lurie's campaign team as a Canvasser and play a pivotal role in implementing the campaign's outreach strategy in San Francisco. Canvassers are primarily responsible for conducting outreach to residents and voters via door-to-door canvassing and by phone. We are seeking individuals with a passion for community organizing and campaigns who excel in collaborative and mission-driven environments.

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated canvassers to work part-time on a mayoral race in the San Francisco area that will commence in July 2024. The schedule for this position is anticipated to be 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM Monday-Wednesday and 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. This is a seasonal, temporary position.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Previous organizing, canvassing, or civic engagement experience preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Interest in social and political issues
  • Self-motivated and able to set and reach personal goals
  • Good time-management skills
  • Good judgment
  • Ability to learn new information and topics quickly
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and insurance
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred

    • Pay & Benefits:

    Starting pay is $25.00/hour with an opportunity for upward mobility within the company. Driving stipend provided for drivers.
