Duties and Responsibilities + Implements methodologies, research questions, evaluations and analysis plans. Shows progressive growth in understanding and leadership of quantitative analyses. + Conducts simple and complex quantitative analyses using SQL, R, and SPSS, among other analysis and statistical software tools. + Visualizes, interprets, reports and communicates data findings creatively. + Develops and maintains local databases. + Maps and conducts analysis on source data files (varied formats). + Provides technical assistance and conducts training in use of data collection tools. + Assists in the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance procedures for all analyses. + Provides guidance, oversight, and development assistance to less senior staff. + Facilitates the implementation of research projects and monitors for quality and timely completion. + Supports the evaluation team in preparing data requests to access administrative datasets + Aids the decision-making process of internal teams by building results that present both insightful data summaries and clear support for conclusions and recommendations. + Compiles results and prepare reports, presentations and other documentation of outcomes. Shows consistent growth and independence in complexity and quality of work. + Facilitates discussions with client stakeholders, including interpretation of findings, development of reports and disseminating results. + Develops competency in federal and state policy. + Understands both the service delivery system for programs which are administered by states and monitored by federal regulators. + Assists with other responsibilities as necessary. Required Skills + Excellent organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills. + Strong analytic skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data and display in professional charts and graphs. + Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously. + Proficiency in analytic software tools, including SQL, R and SPSS. + Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. + Overtime should be expected. + Ability to interpret results and write complex reports. + Tableau experience, preferred. + Previous research experience. Qualifications + Master's Degree preferred in relevant field, Bachelor's Degree at a minimum. + 2 years of experience conducting evaluation and complex analyses. + 2 years of experience in conducting research or program evaluations of social services agencies.
