Supervises and facilitates the administrative and daily activities of the food and nutrition services business systems. Designs, implements, and maintains reports and food services system solutions. Provides guidance and training to users. Performs other duties as assigned.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:Participates in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated food services informational systems, programs, and reports. Identifies and documents issues to improve software performance and staff performance within the office. Responds to data and reporting requests from food services leadership and stakeholders.Maintains databases and manages the data exchanges with the student information system. Monitors data syncing with school sites and resolves issues. Assists vendors and third-party providers with design and implementation.Supervises the review, adjustment, and reconciliation of sales, cash, revenue, meal counts, account balances, and bank deposits to resolve discrepancies.Supervises the student meal benefit data collection and determination process and the preparation and review of meal participation reports.Provides technical support to users of automated reporting tools.Collaborates with directors, managers, and staff to identify information processing and reporting requirements. Analyzes reporting systems, tools, and reports. Designs and implements automated management solutions.Collaborates with Department of Information Technology and accounting staff to identify and implement reports.Participates in initiatives to identify and increase efficiencies and improve controls within the office.Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training and Experience:Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Four years' professional experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or in a related capacity.Note: Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience that provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Thorough knowledge of automated business systems and reporting tools. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft database administration, SQL, Microsoft operating systems, MS Access, MS OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.Skill in analyzing and evaluating administrative processes for automation.Skill in operating, maintaining, and administering automated systems.Skill in troubleshooting system malfunctions. Skill in training and assisting end users. Skill in communicating effectively.Ability to review and interpret technical information, manuals, and technologies.Ability to learn office automated systems.
