Data Analyst (hybrid - Deerfield, MA)

Job Description
The Production Data Analyst is responsible for collecting and monitoring the creation of production data. Responsibilities include auditing the accuracy and timeliness of production data in the ERP system to ensure appropriate action is taken to maintain the integrity of the information. The Production Data Analyst will participate in process improvement exercises, as well as collect and report relevant data to management.
Responsibilities
+ Audit production transactions to ensure they are made timely and accurately.
+ Conduct analyses designed to identify improvements in production operational efficiency.
+ Analyze and determine insights from trends and operating metrics to inform critical department strategy and targets.
+ Monitor existing metrics and analyze data to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
+ Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
+ Participate in Kaizens.
+ Organize, evaluate, interpret, and summarize moderate to complex data.
+ Prepare a variety of analyses, statements, and reports for management review; arrange for preparation of graphics or illustrations to include in research findings.
+ Investigate the cause for deviation to identify if a posting error or a process change has occurred.
+ Lead root cause analysis for posting errors and develop action plans to eliminate the root cause and appropriate production posting corrections.
+ Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement.
+ Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
+ Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience in a comparable role.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
+ Working knowledge and experience with SAP or comparable ERP system.
+ Advanced problem-solving, analytical, oral communication, planning/organizing, and technical writing abilities.
+ Experience working in teams.
+ Advanced experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Work Environment
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
