Job Description:
job summary: The successful candidate must:
  • Create efficient and effective data models in Power BI.
  • Have a good command of SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Point, Excel
  • Python, AWS Redshift, A3S experience
  • Excel coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and achieve Power BI reporting requirements to support strategic goals.
  • Comfortable presenting reporting and analysis with leaders
  • The consultant is responsible for business activities for the Customer Experience & Operations Analytics Team within various client's business units as the primary interface with Information Technology and the Business in order to:
  • Serve as an expert in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions.
  • Business Intelligence Data Visualization Lead Analysts develop and test heuristics, create and run models, perform data exploration and data mining to present valuable data trends and discoveries to other data scientists, business stakeholders and managers at various levels.
  • They create business intelligence, dashboards, visualizations, other advanced analytics reports, and presentations to adequately tell the business narrative and offer recommendations that are practiced, actionable, prioritized based on material impact, in addition to being well-supported by analytical models and data.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, or management of information systems.
  • Work experience in addition to degree: 6+ years
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing data visualization solutions, with an emphasis on data modeling and dashboards
  • 4+ years of experience developing Power BI reports
  • SQL experience
  • Command of Power App and Power Automate
Job-specific knowledge, skills or abilities:
  • Working knowledge of statistics, programming and predictive modeling. Working knowledge of code writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experiencing designing, developing, and testing data visualization solutions, with an emphasis on dashboards
  • 4+ years of experience developing Power BI reports
  • Excellent knowledge of DAX (Power BI)
  • Excellent hands-on experience with Power BI along with Power BI web service and data flows.
  • SQL experience
  • Power Automate and Power App experience
  • Good critical thinking skills and the ability to relate them to the strategies, processes, products or services the company is focused on
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to bridge the gap between data science and business management
  • Desire to present analyses and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Understanding of and ability to use programming languages like Python and SQL (Structured Query Language)
  • Good knowledge of basic and advanced prediction models
  • Data mining knowledge that spans a range of disciplines
  • Good exploratory analysis skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Focus on data integrity and accuracy

  • As a Data Visualization developer and analyst, you will be responsible to help the Customer Service and Experience teams build upon visual analytics using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Support rebuild of reporting upon launching with new call switch, email, IVR, WFM vendor, Genesys
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the requirements, plan and deliver the dashboards/reports
  • Identify pain points faced by stakeholders and develop the data visualization solutions that addresses their needs
  • Identify trends and outliers and come up with data discovery using the solution developed.
  • Create user-friendly and dynamic dashboards and reports.
  • Must be able to effectively present their work to users and business leaders
  • Create reports with KPIs, heat maps, scatterplots, bar charts, slicers, drill down, drill up etc. features and possess understanding of when to use them.
  • Understanding of installation and setup of Power BI.
  • Ability to use SQL for data wrangling and effectively transform the data to be consumed into Power BI.
  • Champion user trust of reporting and ad hoc information by upholding accuracy and integrity of all datasets through exploration, validation, and correction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers, and business analysts to deliver high quality value-adding analytics solutions
  • Must be able to effectively present their work to users and business leaders
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the requirements, plan and deliver the dashboards/reports
  • Identify pain points faced by stakeholders and develop the data visualization solutions that addresses their needs
  • Participate as lead team member for special projects
