Job DetailsJob Location Long Island City - Long Island City, NY Position Type Full Time Salary Range $65,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift Day DescriptionTitle: Data Analyst Unit: Court Advocacy Reports to: Data Manager Salary Range: $65,000 Status: Full Time; Regular; Exempt Location: Long Island City, NY (Hybrid) Days/Hours: Monday - Friday (open) Position Summary: The Data Analyst will support the ATI and Family Services program through the evaluation of data related to service delivery and outcomes. The position involves identifying and determining data points for collection, working with internal data and IT departments to ensure data collection points are available within the database, and generating routine and ad-hoc reports that support the program by monitoring activities, contract performance, and program milestones. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Directly, as well as through other relevant staff, run reports and conduct ongoing internal and external analyses, as well as various external contract databases for departments' related contracts and services. Engage in process documentation, staff training and regular quality assurance monitoring to ensure accurate database entries. Advise the management team on performance relative to contract goals, required level of client service, and activities to help units produce timely outcomes and levels of performance. Engage in data analysis and reporting, data visualization, research and evaluation, and development of appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies; Prepare internal quality assurance reports and surveys (as requested by unit management) to monitor program performance, fidelity to practice, client satisfaction, etc. Represent Court Advocacy in the board report process and conduct reporting and data analysis requested by management. Collaborate with Court Advocates, Case Managers and Clinical Case Coordinators; Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all client information into the agency's database; Monitor participant's attendance and compliance with mandate requirements; Participate in client case conferences for optimum collaboration among internal programs and external agencies; Attend and participate in all necessary funder and program meetings, conferences, and trainings; Engage in his/her ongoing professional development; and Additional responsibilities as required. QualificationsQualifications: Associate's degree in public health, human services, criminal justice, sociology or related field with a strong background in statistical analysis and/or data management. Bachelor's or Master's degree a plus; Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Office, including Excel at an advanced level A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, preferably in a nonprofit social service setting. Must be detail-oriented with superior analytical skills. Ability to do big picture thinking and solve problems in a way that is creative and collaborative; Although not required, knowledge of and proficiency in the following will be useful: CaseWorthy, query construction, and Visual Basic. Experience with quality assurance and/or quality improvement; Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds in a culturally competent manner.
