SUMMARY The Data Analyst is responsible for providing data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. The Data Analyst transforms data into readable, goal-oriented reports and analysis to drive innovation and growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. - Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.
- Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights.
- Manage analytics initiatives end-to-end from ideation through production and adoption using Agile methodologies.
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders, with an eye on opportunities of business drivers.
- Collaborate with business leaders to craft questions to generate maximum value using analytics; enable business leaders to achieve their business and functional goals.
EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on Marketing or Communications; or 4+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with delivery of data discovery and data analytics solutions to drive results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with an agile, collaborative mindset.
- Ability to focus on details while identifying key issues and challenges.
- Ability to work cross functionally across stake holders and matrixed teams.
- Technical Fluency: Must possess strong acumen in quantitative skills.
- Ability to dive into large volumes of data to develop insights and build hypothesis.
- Set up datasets to test hypotheses.
- Knowledge/working knowledge on advanced SQL with structured and un-structured datasets
- Working knowledge with cloud technologies along with modern data storage techniques like data marts, data lakes, data mesh etc.
- Hands-on knowledge on data pipelining platforms like Rivery, Five Tran etc.
- Ability to work with multiple databases like Snowflake, SQL-Server, MySQL etc.
- Advanced working knowledge on data visualization using tools e.g. PowerBI, Tableau or QlikView
- Basic knowledge of data science life cycle for advanced machine learning algorithms.
EEOE Annual salary range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
