Title: Data AnalystLocation: Work from HomeThe Data Analyst is responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design in the development of analysis and reporting capabilities for the enterprise. They will monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. General job duties include, but are not limited to:Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reportsDeveloping and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systemsIdentifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends and/or patterns in complex data setsFiltering and cleaning data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsJob Qualifications:Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data AnalystTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects), databases (SQL), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)Strong knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, or SAS)Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with strong attention to detail and accuracyAdeptness at writing queries, reports, and presenting findingsA minimum of a BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or other relevant fieldIf you're interested in this job opportunity, please apply to this job posting directly or email a copy of your resume to Devon Apel at ...@alinestaffing.com!
