Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing company here in Parsippany, NJ! The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing data analytics and reporting solutions associated with the different facets of our business. The projects may range from bulk importing and manipulation of data to preparation and generation of reports, all with scalability in mind. The BI and Reporting team is responsible for the sourcing, processing, and distributing of data both internally and externally.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Standardize routine reports using Power BI and/or SQL.
• Develop new and existing reports in Power BI and/or Excel.
• Use Python or other tools to automate new and existing processes.
• Develop ETL processes and/or data lakes to support reporting process.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation of all work performed.
• Analyse client's performance and provide additional insights.
• Must be a self-starter and eager to learn.
• Follow established processes and recommend improvements.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
• Other duties will be at the discretion of management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field required
• Minimum of 4+ years of Data Analyst experience in a large corporate environment
• Must be able to work fully on-site
• Experience with Power BI is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be able to make clear and concise presentations to leadership
• Technical expertise using PostgreSQL, Pyhton or other relevant data manipulation tools
• Excellent computer skills including strong Excel, Power Query and other MS software
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
