Job Description:
Design and implement Airtable databases tailored to business requirements, ensuring databases are scalable, flexible, and optimized for performance. Define data models, relationships, and schemas based on project needs. Design and implement integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Zapier, Integromat, API integrations) to automate processes, sync data, and improve operational workflows. Ensure Airtable databases are effectively integrated with other platforms and services. Build intuitive interfaces and views in Airtable that simplify data entry, reporting, and analysis for non-technical users. Ensure that the database structures are easy to navigate and maintain. Create and maintain logical and physical data models that reflect business needs. Implement relationships between tables, create linked records, and use Airtables advanced features (like Formulas, Rollups, Lookups, and Views) to optimize data flow and usability. Set up automated processes and workflows in Airtable using Airtable Automations or scripts to reduce manual tasks, improve efficiency, and ensure data consistency across the database. Design custom views, dashboards, and reporting tools in Airtable to provide actionable insights. Create filters, views, and summaries that support decision-making processes and enable real-time access to key data points.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working with Airtable or similar database design and management tools (e.g., Notion, Google Sheets, Microsoft Access). Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience in relational database design. Proven experience in building and managing Airtable databases, creating tables, views, automations, and integrations with other tools. Experience with Airtable's advanced features, such as formulas, rollups, lookups, linked records, blocks, and scripts. Knowledge of API integrations and Airtable's native Automations to connect Airtable with other platforms. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and design creative solutions to meet business needs. Ability to communicate complex database design concepts to non-technical users and stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. Familiarity with data privacy and security standards, with a focus on protecting sensitive information.
Pay Rate:
$60 per hour
