Must-Haves:
- 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to create DDL (Data Definition Language) and proficiency in testing and learning DDL
- Experience in creating data pipelines and jobs in Snowflake for data curation
- Domain experience, preferably in financial services (prior experience with Fidelity or its competitors)
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into visualization and scalable solutions
- Excellent communication skills, proactive approach, attention to detail, and curiosity
- Ability to read and understand Alteryx, Snowflake SQL, Power BI, and Tableau
- Proficiency in creating user stories and strong documentation skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Workplace Investing data consumption layer strategy, particularly in migrating from Oracle to Snowflake
- Act as a liaison between Product and Engineering teams, facilitating requirements understanding and logic for data tables
- Assist in translating consumer needs into visual outputs, guiding data engineers and modelers in data transformation
- Understand data modeling principles and create dashboards, wrangle data for visual tools, and ensure data cleanliness for analytics
- Influence the final results by transforming existing data into cleaner tables, focusing on scalable and repeatable solutions
- Ensure understanding of consumer needs and data characteristics to develop solutions in the most suitable format
