Role: Data Analyst Location: Jackson, MI (100% remote but need locals) Rate: Market Duration: Long term Department Summary: The Sales Strategy & Performance team, part of Sales Operations, is driven to build and support a world-class sales team that executes on achieving the company's clean energy goals. The support includes performance management, target establishment, forecasting, visual management development, and process improvements. This is a very dynamic team moving at a fast pace. Job Description/Responsibilities: In this role, you will be shaping the company's future by working with the latest clean energy products, including demand response, energy waste reduction, renewable energy, and electrification. You will work closely with internal organizations such as product, marketing, sales, data analytics, and IT. Specific Tasks Include:
- Build models, reports, and tools to analyze and report sales-related data, including sales pipeline and business productivity.
- Manage datasets in Microsoft CRM and SQL environments, proactively detect data gaps, and ensure data accuracy.
- Support the sales team to resolve technical issues and answer data requests; work as a liaison between the sales team and IT to request and implement system/data enhancements.
- Provide sales segment analytics.
- Maintain cadenced reporting, including PowerPoint presentations.
- Execute sales go-to-market strategy, including prospect development and target setting.
- Trigger and maintain sales compensation workflow.
- Drive efficiency in processes.
- Complete additional business tasks or projects as requested.
- The candidate will be able to work remotely and attend meetings onsite as needed, though they can opt to work at one of our locations.
Skills and Experience: Required Skills: - 3+ years of relevant business experience related to modeling or business/financial reporting utilizing relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, SAP HANA).
- Work experience with MS Power BI or equivalent visual management software.
- Work experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong problem-solving identification and resolution skills.
- Able to work as a member of a strong, collaborative team that thrives on providing actionable input to decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills: - Advanced degree in a related field.
- Strong communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter and intellectually curious.
- Utility or e-commerce experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, SAP.
- Experience with R or Python.
- Experience with Web API.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
