The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $67,125-$98,450 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Use statistical techniques to model cost for complex machinery
- Use company resources to investigate and understand products and how configurations affect cost and services
- Work independently and within a team to develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Act as Point-of-Contact for Product management/Product specialists to implement and maintain unit cost and service calculations in Maestro
- Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
What We are Looking For:
Must Haves:
- Experience in a supply chain industry, or in related field
- Ability to read complex product drawings and assess product Bills of Material
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Available for occasional travel
- Demonstrate outstanding team interaction and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent MS office skills
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with SQL
- Solid grasp of BI tools and platforms - PowerQuery or Power BI most useful
- Proven track record presenting data findings in simple and easy to understand ways
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Ability to work with global colleagues
- Ability to set and meet deadlines and work in high-pressure situations
- Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
Education
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering preferred. BS in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or Statistics considered.
