Our Billing Co. is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that support decision-making and process improvement initiatives within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify data needs, create reports, and develop data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Essential Functions: Role Specific Functions: Gathers and compiles data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency Maintains and manages databases to support data integrity and accessibility Analyzes complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions Utilizes statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively Creates and maintains regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure process improvements Prepares ad-hoc reports as requested by management or stakeholders Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support Communicates findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Identifies opportunities for data quality enhancement and process optimization Stays updated on industry trends and emerging tools to improve data analysis practices Provides support and training to team members on data analysis tools and techniques Promotes a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization Minimum/Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Work Experience 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role is required. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred. Certifications Relevant certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Skilled in synthesizing a wealth of information. Exhibits excellent time management and prioritization abilities. Communicates effectively both one-on-one and in a group setting. Capable of following and providing detailed instructions both orally and through written communication. Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Project). This is a fully remote position. Our Billing Co. offers a competitive benefits package Pay Range: $28.85 to $ 40.85 per hour Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to market data, education, experience, qualifications, and expertise of the individual and internal equity considerations.
