Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Statistics and Machine Learning with a preference for those who have experience in Merchandising. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and innovation within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Provide expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong foundation in Statistics and Machine Learning with hands-on experience in applying these skills to real-world problems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Show expertise in working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully leading data science projects from conception to deployment.
