Job DetailsJob Location Home Office - Bettendorf, IA Position Type Exempt Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $62,057.00 - $93,085.00 Salary Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Day Job Category Information Technology DescriptionJOB TITLE: DATA ANALYST FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT REVISED DATE: 7/3/2024 REPORTS TO: DATA ANALYTICS PROGRAM MANAGER PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position exists to identify, compile, and provide relevant financial information and analytical reports that will enable the company to make sound strategic operational decisions. This position plays a crucial role in business intelligence reporting and analyzing data to improve member experiences, streamline processes, fuel product innovation, and driving strategic decision-making. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coordinate the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing data analysis, metrics, reports, dashboards, etc. with a view to drive successful business decisions. 2. Stay up to date on new technologies and conduct research as necessary to prepare, process, analyze, and share reports and dashboards, fostering data driven decision-making. 3. Coordinate the closing of data quality gaps by identifying areas that need to be changed and escalating as necessary to drive process improvement. 4. Support integration of new data sources into the data warehouse and identify key performance indicators that reflect business performance. 5. Collaborate with departmental leaders to facilitate and execute high-quality, data-driven decisions. 6. Simplify and automate reporting, and other data activities; build solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders. 7. Solve complex and broad business problems with analytically derived solutions, applying appropriate analytical best practices. 8. Deliver analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences and partner with them to identify opportunities for improvement. 9. Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing performance, improving efficiencies, and reducing costs, collaborating with cross-functional teams as required. 10. Actively and thoughtfully communicate with their supervisor, planning their goals and development, taking accountability for their actions, and striving for excellence. QualificationsREQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION: •Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent related experience. •Three to five years' experience in an analytics role at a financial institution. •Three to five years' experience in data analysis using SQL. •Three to five years' experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI. •Proficient in Microsoft Excel (such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other functions). •Knowledge of relational database design, querying, data modeling and data warehouse preferred. •Advanced data gathering and data analytic skills. •Ability to have a high level of integrity and handle confidential information. •Excellent communication and organizational skills. •Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. •Excellent decision-making skills. •Ability to perform under pressure. •Team player. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
