Azurite is hiring a top-performing Data Analytics Associate II responsible for executing survey programming, generating insights, improving ongoing workflows and bolstering our programming capabilities.

>> About the Role

The core initial responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, program, manage and deliver web-based surveys
  • Actively manage and investigate live surveys to ensure respondent quality and survey accuracy (e.g., anomaly detection)
  • Independently identify and develop improvements in survey scripting, maintenance and client delivery to improve company and personal efficiency
  • Expand Azurite's survey/programming capabilities, processes, IP and survey-related strategy
  • Interface with clients to provide regular data updates
  • Conduct data analysis to identify key trends and insights to drive client decision making
  • Proactively identify optimizations and opportunities for automation across our technology stack
  • Proactively communicate with a collaborative mindset with the operations and technology teams

>> Must Have:

  • Deep interest in joining a boutique primary research consulting firm with a ‘start-up' mentality and to be part of the team that focuses on and enables ambitious growth
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience with -

-scripting language such as Python or JavaScript (Loops/Conditional Formulas and Reformat of Data)

-data visualization/dashboarding (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or relevant Python packages)

-statistical methods (basic correlation/covariance analyses

  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency with Excel
  • This a hybrid position, with the expectation to be in our Jersey City, NJ office 2-3 days a week

  • Proficient at analyzing and communicating research results effectively and in a timely manner
  • Intellectual curiosity in survey programming and primary research
  • Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to develop solutions using a top-down consultative approach
  • Adapt and take on new tasks outside of “comfort zone” across the business and grow capabilities across a range of relevant business areas
  • Deliver consistently against tight timeframes and inflexible client deadlines, prioritizing “whatever it takes” to ensure project and survey delivery
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills to share ideas in a succinct manner to both internal management and clients directly
  • Ability to work collaboratively, professionally, and effectively in a high performing, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Maintain an exceptional level of professionalism, respectfulness, ethics, and diligence with consistently high quality of work
