Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking experienced Data Analytics professional to lead our growing team of Data Analysts.This role will involve a blend of leadership, project management and hands-on analysis.As the Data Analytics Manager, you will manage, mentor and develop your team while also contributing directly to data analysis and business intelligence projects. Duties and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for people management, hiring, onboarding and professional development of the Data Analytics team
- Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights and reports
- Simplify complex business data into clear narratives and decisive, compelling recommendations
- Manage project backlog and Kanban implementation by scoping incoming projects and facilitating work in progress
- Be a technical and domain expert to your team, leading by example with best practices in data analysis, data science and business intelligence
- Spend at least 50% of your time doing hands-on data analysis, creating reports and visualizations, and providing insights
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of seven (7+) years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years in a people management role
- Advanced relational database and SQL knowledge (we use a lot of PostgreSQL and MySQL)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence your cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate or above Python experience, including libraries/frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, plotly or similar
- Data Engineering experience (e.g., designing/implementing data pipelines, ELT/ETL concepts, workflow automation, etc.)
- Prior experience with Metabase, Apache Superset or other open-source data visualization and exploration tools
- Dimensional data modeling experience
