Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking an experienced Data Analytics professional to lead our growing team of Data Analysts. This role will involve a blend of leadership, project management, and hands-on analysis. As the Data Analytics Manager, you will manage, mentor, and develop your teamwhile also contributing directly to data analysis and business intelligence projects.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for people management, hiring, onboarding, and professional development of the Data Analytics teamWork closely with cross-functional teams throughout Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights and reportsSimplify complex business data into clear narratives and decisive, compelling recommendationsManage project backlog and Kanban implementation by scoping incoming projects and facilitating work in progressBe a technical and domain expert to your team, leading by example with best practices in data analysis, data science, and business intelligenceSpend at least 50% of your time doing hands-on data analysis, creating reports and visualizations, and providing insightsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum of seven (7+) years of relevant professional experience, with at least two years in a people-management roleAdvanced relational database and SQL knowledge (we use a lot of PostgreSQL and MySQL)Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence your cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WIDesired QualificationsIntermediate or above Python experience, including libraries/frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, plotly, or similarData Engineering experience (e.g., designing/implementing data pipelines, ELT/ETL concepts, workflow automation, etc.)Prior experience with Metabase, Apache Superset, or other open-source data visualization and exploration toolsDimensional data modeling experienceCompensation and BenefitsExtreme Engineering Solutions offers a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits, including:No-deductible, low-copay group health and dental insurance (90% employer paid)Health and wellness benefits coverage eligibility begins on the first of the month following your start dateLife insurance and long-term disability insurance (100% employer paid)Paid time off, plus eight paid holidays a year401(k) employer match up to 4%, subject to plan terms & waiting periods (Roth option is available)Participation in the 100% employee-owned Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) at no cost to employeesX-ES also takes a casual, small-business approach to company culture.
