Job Description:
Position Description: 1. Maintains a strong understanding of the enterprise IT systems, HIE frameworks and architectures. 2. Assists in the analysis of the requirements for the enterprise and applying emerging technologies to support long-term business objectives. 3. Responsible for researching collecting and disseminating information on emerging technologies and key learnings throughout the enterprise. 4. Researches and recommends changes to foundation architecture. Supports research projects to identify and evaluate emerging technologies. 5. Interfaces with users and staff to evaluate possible implementation of the new technology in the enterprise consistent with the goal of improving existing systems and technologies and in meeting the needs of the business. 6. Analyzes and researches process of deployment and assists in this process. 7. Must posses the knowledge and a thorough understanding of TEFCA requirements, FHIR, and USCDI.Skills Required: •Cross-functional Team Leadership •Strong Interpersonal skills •Complex problem solving •Enterprise/cross-divisional implementations •Project management and plan development •Computer Literate •Excellent communication skills •Effective Time Management.Skills Preferred: Experience Required: 1. Analysis and development of strategic initiatives in support of organizational goals for expanded utilization of health information exchange platforms to support clinical data collection and system interoperability, including working knowledge of the electronic heath record and the Promoting Interoperability Payment Program electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) requirements. 2. Implementation and on-boarding processes for organizations establishing connectivity to Health Information Exchange platforms for connectivity and system, and data interoperability. 3. Technical and business case analysis for the development of data interoperability and integration processes for population health management, particularly with a Health Payer organization. 4. Initiatives focused on the collection and aggregation of health data from various health care entities and numerous other independent community partners. 5. Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), National Quality Forum and Health Level Seven (HL7) data standards and reporting. 6. Technical experience in the analysis of health data quality. 7-10 years of direct experienceExperience Preferred: 1. Engagement as a participating subject matter expert (SME) with numerous national health information technology organizations and industry stakeholders, such as. the National Committee on Vital Health Statistics (NCVHS), Health Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP), and WEDI (Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange) Policy Advisory Group, Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS), and Health Level Seven (HL7),Education Required: Bachelor's Degree - Business, Health Care Administration, Information Technology, or related fieldEducation Preferred: Additional Information: - Submittals must be of submitting vendor.
